No need for the coat pal, thought that was quite sharp for a Sunday evening... and if your like me and have had 6 pints and a roast beef dinner and feeling quite lethargic?!

Is it time to start charging less for away fans/families and getting them through the gate?

1000 at £10 each is better than 200 at £20....

In a word no. Hudds have never brought many and the excuse about prices is lame. If the tickets had been £10 they would not have brought that many more.

With Hull's ticket prices are you surprised? people are saving the money to buy their next 10 years worth of season tickets with complimentary jizz stained shirt thrown in and still have enough for a match day pint.

even before the price change, away fans never turned up in big numbers, especially the giants, so we may as well make some money from the small number who do come, its called running a buisness!

Huddersfield have had a low attendance rate for both home and away fixtures for many seasons. I don't think that pricing structure or away coaches being bricked will have had much of an affect on things today.

They should get a better crowd, really. They have a decent stadium, generally play good rugby and have reached finals in recent years. Something must be amiss, either in the town or in the marketing, but I don't know enough to say what it is.

Quite.

All the bemoaning from away fans this season is quite baffling. Where were they anyway when the prices were lower?

With better windscreen insurance nowadays you'd think more people might show up.

The clubs should get together to sort out the marketing for the benefit of all IMO.

Pearson is well known for his success in this department, there is no reason that at the right price point and perhaps with a little more razzamatazz around the games, and things going on during the build up each week, I'm sure more would come and to the benefit of the atmosphere, the game and the coffers?

Or maybe the joy/buzz of a good 'away day' is missed by some fans?

I'm not sure what Giants charge for an away ticket in comparison to FC but surely its just a couple of quid and can't be used as an out and out excuse?
Life is a game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying! You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. That's a team, gentlemen. TONY D'AMATO

Surprised clubs haven't come up with an away season ticket, coach travel included.

Is there such a thing as Mod Trolling and if so how does it differ from standard poster trolling?

I thought there were more people from Huddersfield on the pitch than in the North Stand!

How does it work ie how much £ do away fans earn from games ,is it what they sell , a cut of total att etc etc?
Well, I'm the boss... Head Honcho. El Numero Uno. Mr. Big. The Godfather. Lord of the Rings. The Bourne... Identity. Er... Taxi Driver. Jaws. I forgot the question quite a while back. Who are you, again?

Ah! The IT-department. Run by a dynamic go-getter, a genius and a man from Ireland.
