Has anyone heard any rumours regarding players for next season yet? Being that the pack is a priority the OOC player I think could be worth considering is Morley, Cooper, Watts? Any other suggestions? With Smith more of less some I hope PV lets Marc Sneyd have a crack for a season see how he goes. I'm not sure about Towers at FB, I think someone mentioned he had a shocker in the 9's and was terrible under the high ball, McDonnell would be a decent recruit but I doubt we could afford his wage as PV said he's looking for value players.

According to MEN tonight Gibson has agreed a new deal which i think is good as he provides good cover in the squad. Also says that we are looking for 5 news signings (andy Dixon from saints rumoured to be one) and replacements for Patten, smith, Gleeson. Also says Vinnie Anderson and Luke Adamson are after new deals.....not sure about either to be honest

There is a rumour on the Cas forum that Anderson is going there.I did see Millward in the stadium on Friday night.
Cas have announced that Ellis is going there from Hull FC.The press yesterday reported FC making an offer for Danny Brough.If so,it should put to bed the MEN reports about DJ.

Wouldn't be unhappy to see the back of Anderson, good in patches but you'd guess one of the higher earners currently on the books.

The rumour about Youngquest to SCR is a no-goer.He is retiring at end of this season.

Not to sure where I'd stand on that one. Would he becoming as a Hooker or Half? Think he's better as a number 9 these days but I'd be happy Godwin / Howarth and Owen for the long run. Maybe he replacing Smith, I'd prefer to give Sneyd a season to try and establish himself can do no harm. One for the Full Back situation next season, presuming Vievers prefers an attacking option, I'd try see what the chances of Russell from Wigan coming on a season long loan. That being if this Towers is not being retained.

There's a poster on the Hull board saying we've signed Holdsworth. He's usually spot on with his info to. Broughy is staying at Hudds.

Pretty certain he's got another year to go on his contract so there would have to be a fee involved, if there isn't one offered I'd hold him to his contract as we gain nothing at the end of it anyway.
