Nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy ... Sometimes I need to remind myself of that!

The older I get the more I become a firm believer that the things we regret most in life are the things that we don't do!

Happy reading :) , mission accomplished I would say. At the start of the season top four was the aim. Really looking forward to next two games

It's all about showing who is the best team in this division now.
We were as good as promoted weeks ago going on the way Oldham and Rochdale were playing.
Oldham have not won a game for about 9 games and Rochdale win one in every two games.
No way are they suddenly going to become worldbeaters.
So that's that!

Now we can relax and play our best football and go for gold.
And I don't mean by being arrogant and complacent and fannying around.

I mean by being professional and wanting to impress and show that we are the best team in this league.
It will be tough, but apart from two losses away to the two teams above us in this league, what have we done wrong?
Nothing!

Let's shake these two Cumbrian teams when they come down here. We didn't perform like we can when we went to their place.
They will come down here all smug like. They are no better than us and if we hit form we will demolish the pair of them!

Let's prepare to do just that.
Let's play good, adventurous rugby football

PS Craig Fawcett is coming along a treat this season. He is fast becoming a damned good player.

Perhaps the guy who is playing 6 for him is helping.

i think fawcett is a good player in his own right and thats nothing to do with cooke. he was brillant against gateshead and had a really good game yesterday whereas cookie was quite average.

I think the way Paul Cooke directs the play ,and his quality can only run off on the players around him. He doesn't have to be involved in every move to show the effect of his presence. That takes nothing away from the rest of the team who have all improved I would say

Perhaps he is, but I think Fawcett is becoming more adventurous in his own right and nippier too.

I'm sure even Fawcett would admit he is a better player since Cookies arrival - the few other players I have spoke to all say they are..

Dont get me wrong he still has looked top notch this season for us.
There's no I in team......but there is a me!
