Gentle said they sent the message out to not pass the ball :D

It was more the ones that went to ground I noticed rather than him stop passing it. Understandable now though.

Funny reading this getting back from the game, we had a bad spell about half way through the second half but overall played some good rugby, the defence was pretty good. I was meh about the proposed signing of Brough but he was superb today and really caused us some problems.

How could anyone feel like that about the chance to sign the best English 7 in the league? The blokes class, he would walk into any team in the league barring Catalans perhaps.

back to winning ways and an important 2 points, nice to beat giants finally at home with a decent squad as some of their fans were a little too cocky after beating us on easter monday and in the chalenge cup when our squad was down to its bones!

Overall good show from the lads, played to the 80 minutes for a change and came up with some sucker punches to win the game.

Brough's kicking game is outstanding.

Happy with the outcome but thought we lacked any urgency for large parts of the game. Tickle & Manu were both very poor, I know Tickle got injured but even before then.
We seem to lack any execution skills, poor runners meant players like Seymour & Westerman got caught with the ball far too often (they then get slagged off). The amount of times a player has to reach out to take a pass or even check his run is shocking.
We could have the best organising scrum half in the league (I think we've got one of them) but when players are unable to execute the basics of catch & pass then any structure just falls down, we then resort to panic plays which lead to rushed options at the end of the set and ultimately turning the ball over poorly.

On a brighter note, Heremaia looks very good and Watts did well also. Thought Pitts was excellent in defence against a massive pack.

I was overseas when he first played for us so never saw him, he just seemed like a kicker whenever I saw him on sky. Changed my mind today! How old is he ?

The amount of wrong refereeing decisions in that try was a joke.

The back to 1 call when the hudds player kicked it into the back of the Hull player was farcical

Add in the Hudds player running behind his teammates and the second penalty for interference IMO just being a fumble by the Hudds player and it really was ridiculous.

And our player tackling their player and he calling all on, when in reality it was a loose carry.
