just seen the score at 18-8 to batley just before half time, was just wondering if anyone knew whether we was going up or downhill in that first half?

24-8 at half time now, it would suggest by that score that we were going up hill first half, hope so

to be honest mate i dont think it's going to matter, at 24-8 down at ht, missing a couple of key man, i predict our first hammering of the year i'm afraid. :(

A few of the Fev faithful went to watch this 1, was good to catch up with a few of the Leythers seeing as we missed the chance last week.

Leigh's was a patchy display and it was obvious there were a few missing and Batley took full advantage of the situation. That being said, Batley played some nice rugby at times and Mr Black ran the show.
The weak conform, the strong survive.

best team won who was the Leigh 14 ,someone from Leigh east I think, but with Duffs, Taylor,Goulden, Maden and Johnny Pownall missing ,I thought they were going to come back in the second half, Gardners try was never a forward pass and that given we could have gone on to win.also some very debatable decisions from the red haired waste of space .
only the heartaches are waiting for us

He didn't give all of them for nothing. Worst display of the season imo. Stinkers for too many of the team along with woeful tackling. Inside ball put the player into 3 waiting defenders every time.
Sorry folks, but no Forecast Comp this year
