Interesting bit about rules being applied fairly for everyone!

Crusaders?
Speculative finances and bankrupt?
Administration not cancelling licence?
Stadia?
Visas?

Anyone?

and...

"The first is that issues of promotion and relegation should, as far as possible, be determined by performance on the pitch," said the QCs, in their judgment.

"This is a victory not only for London Welsh, its players, coaching staff and supporters but also for sport in general and the game of rugby union in particular," said the club in a statement. "It reinforces the fundamental sporting ethic that the best team should receive the appropriate awards. The strength of our case was based on legal merits, in particular anti-competition grounds, and fairness and justice."

I really do worry though that the damage has well and truly been done and the gap between the Championship and Super League is massive just in finacial distribution alone.

What do you guys genuinely think would happen if Fax for example were to be promoted.
Could we compete on and off the field.
How long would it take to compete on and off the field.
What can be done to redress the balance.

It was interesting to listen to the director from Fev I think it wasa the chairman who spoke over the phone when the had the radio afternoon dominated by the Bulls situation.

After speaking about the plight of Bradford he was asked about Fev, how well they had done in the Championship and their prospects of going back to Super League at some point in the future.

it was a very informed, thought out reply which in essence said that Rovers had a plan and structures in place that was going very well to ensure that when the next round of licensing came Fev would be in a good position to submit a strong application and that would be the best time for them.

Don't get me wrong he continued if the RFL camw calling tomorrow asking them to step up they would most likely do so.

He then asked a retorical question. Would we survive at this point in time ??????????????
I believe (and stand to be correctd by others closer to the club than me) basically meaning they would give it heir best shot but it would be tough as things stand at the moment.

I also believe that the other clubs in the Championship would find it the same, as thing stand at this point in time.

The game has some real serious problems with no easy fixes, the positive is that at our level we have a really competative league which should continue at this level for sometime.
There is less chance of clubs going bust and if one did it would have less of an impact o the comp or game in general.

Super League on the other hand is under some real pressure as a comp.
On boots this week questions about wether the entire game has become bankrupt were being asked with good reason to ask them.
They claim to be the real deal, the best game ever, hell they even have SUPER in the title.

Well if anymore clubs go to the wall they are in danger of losing all credibility even as an enity in the world of sport in general.
The plot has well and truly been lost, talk about the blind leading the blind, those at Redhall need to be removed to have any chance at all.
