Is there only me that seems bothered about Tony Smith's total lack of respect to the latter teams resting valuable players when facing them. If I had attended last night fiasco I would not be happy. Next season instead on renewing my season ticket I will simply ask the club what squad they intend to put out for the weekends game. If they don't field there strongest available team then I will simply not go. Well if they can't be bothered then neither can I. rant over.

We've rested players in numerous games and won them...We rested players V Salford and they took it to us and won easily...
If Tony Smith thinks this is the right thing to do with and international match, a game against Catalan and a Challenge Cup semi in a short space of time then i trust him...
Challenge Cup Winners 2009,2010 and 2012. League Leaders Shield 2011. Just like the last one its ALWAYS OUR YEAR..!

That Warrington team was good enough to beat Salford last night. Truth is, we played very badly with too much dropped ball, poor discipline and decision making. Salford played very well.
When Wigan lost to Widnes, they twice held significant leads and also had selected a team good enough to beat the opposition. Once the players are out on the pitch there is not a great deal the coach can do.
I have no problem with rotating the squad as TS has done. We have a big squad and have shown in the past this season that we can grind out wins with key players missing. Last night was just a poor performance.

All will be forgotten if we beat Huddersfield in the semi final. Seriously, which game would people rather we win?
could`nt agree more..also i notice very little credit given to salford who played very well.ok we didnt but you cant win every week...just remember we are still 2nd in the league in the semi of the cc not bad for an ageing side that rests players most weeks,or should we go back to the anderson and plange days where we struggled to win the toss up at the start of a game....lot of knee jerking going on tbh

This is unfortunately the problem when people call for reductions in overseas players, give young players a chance etc. It sounds good and pc to call for it on internet forums and I know this forum is always going on about how our young upcoming talent is the best thing since sliced bread, we will be fine without Briers we don't need Chase because O'Brien and Myler are the future....we don't need Bateman because our young players are more than good enough on their own.
When you have guys like Evans, Dwyer, O'Brien, Blythe, Hill in the team it's just not good enough for a product like Super League if you want to keep fans turning up. Yeah fair enough in a pre season friendly but not Super League.
IMO it should be deregulated so there are no restrictions on overseas players and no salary cap, so teams can target the best players from anywhere in the world and make Super League a product the fans want to see. Let Rogues Gallery and Paul Youane follow the Academy if that's their hobby but most of us couldn't give a rats about academy players, unless they are genuine quality - like Bateman for instance, or Charnley at Wigan.

Would you say this if you did not have a chairman with deep pockets?...... To a point i do agree with you, but turkeys won't vote for Xmas.
How do you know if they are good enough unless you play them?? They can all look good in the academy games but without testing them in the first team you'll never find out. So lets just invest in the youth, not test them, ship 'em out and signed a bunch of Aussies and expect Moran to keep dipping in to his very deep pockets..
Every one is entitled to their own option. I'd rather lose a few games than watch a team hammering everyone every week... It makes life much more interesting..
There was some poor performances out there last night but a would looks at the seasoned professional before blaming on the youngers lads for me your should be picked on performance not reputation, name or size of your wage packet.
Hilly has been outstanding all season yet Was of the field until the last 7 mins, so that mozza can get match fit.., surely that ain't right.
