Just listened to the start of the leythcast with Duffs and Rowley. Rowley says Laithwaite has gone to HKR, but the deal is he will be available for us if he is not in their first 19. He clearly states Laithwaite has not gone there to play u'23s rugby. However, he is NOT in the HKR 19 but doesn't seem to be available for us either? BTW, just looked at the Wigan 17 playing tonight and Spencer is not in it. Maybe he'll be available on Sunday?

I think on both counts we might have expected them to be in the 17 for their SL clubs, so maybe there is a chance that they will be available after all?

I understand it is a registration issue that prevents Laithwaite from playing tomorrow.

Cheers for the info.I bet Laithwaite will be gutted this weekend, if he is sitting about twiddling his thumbs with no game because of a registration issue. Enjoyed Leythcast. You do a good job Matt.

RE laithwaite for him to play for Hull KR we had to de register him, and when we found out he wasnt in their squad there wasnt time to re register him.
igan dont want Spencer playing Sunday and Thurs ie twice in one week. I expect us to have both available THursday.

Fair enough. I do not know when it became definite that Laithwaite was off to HKR, but I do know there were issues over money between Warrington and the Hull club as late as Tues afternoon and HKR named their squad as early as Wednesday. The biggest pity, I suppose, is for Laithwaite himself, who will not be playing for Wire, HKR or Leigh this weekend it seems.
