I was only using this game as an example of bad commentating. It happens plenty on other televised games. Perhaps it's down to individual perception and a sensitivity towards your own side. Who knows.

As for watching the game televised (A reply for Mr Mouse) I'm away in Scotland for a funeral. Hope that makes you feel better on your smug stance. At least, that's what I think he was on about, it's hard to tell...

Well said the butcher, No words needed! well done Salford & to all those Warrington fans bleating on about who you left out, we have very little in the way of forwards but had our 3 main strike forwards out last night, much smaller squad, great win too many excuses wire.

There was nothing wrong with the commentary.
We were ,rightly, given loads of praise.
The analysis was fair, even Smith after the match,on the red button, was at pains to give us credit.
For once, let's just enjoy a great performance on tv that was applauded by everyone.

Warrington did rest a lot of players that is a fact however we should have still given you a game. If i was a Salford fan i'd be dissapointed you only won by the margin you did, you could have easily scored 60+ after going 40 - 6 up after 50 minutes. You definitely seem to play the game the right way which should be applauded hopefully now with the new stadium you can start to kick on and build your fan base up. Good luck for the rest of the season

Why as a Salford fan should I be disappointed, we felt sorry for Warrington and so we let you score a couple of tries so you could bang your drum, only dissapointment is the excuses, we have a much smaller squad and were missing 3 forwards, in effect no real pack. We pay only half the salary cap and not the sombrero covering that is the wage bill at Warrington. The biggest disappointment is that we don't play like we did last night against generally poor teams like Cas and Wakefield, it was also nice to see last night that apart from one ripping decision against and a dodgy dec at the ptb the ref got everything else right, we even won the penalty count.

the BBC have carried on this bias on their Rugby league page:-

"Pryce Helps Bradford Stun Wigan" no mention in the headline that Wigan had rested players and had 7 first teamers out.

Like I said last night, I actually am a bit disappointed. The performance didn't deserve a scoreline as close as that, and it *should* have been 50 - 60 points. Matty Smith showed just why bigger clubs are interested in him (and Richie Myler showed why they aren't). Nevertheless, it was one of the best performances from Salford for years, until they switched off a bit towards the end.

And we had four forwards missing: Jewitt, McP, Sidlow and Godwin: the first choice front row and the first choice replacement prop over recent weeks.

Nice to see Stefan acknowledge the Salford fans. Makes you kind of think his heart isn't at the HJ.
Someday, somewhere, today’s empires are tomorrow’s ashes.

Which players did Wigan rest last night?
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row
