I'm in the you defend yourself camp. Yes it was another contributing factor to our loss but it wasn't wholly responsible. I very much doubt many on here would sit back and allow themselves to be elbowed without reacting, whether playing in a rugby match or not.
He always been a niggly git Elima.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!
We thought it was a yellow card in the West Stand.
I sent my mate a message saying he'd been sin binned I thought it was yellow from east , then he messaged me saying it was red and he wasn't at the game haha
Lost us the game today. If Elima did elbow im on the deck he should of replied to it on the deck, instead of standing up and giving him a smack right infront of the ref. With him on the field we would of won, no doubt, today
I rate McIlorum, expecially amomgst the Roby obsession, but the Elima reaction was quite ridiculous. Biting to a few feeble digs, futile.
In saying that I recall McIlorum in a game v Leeds at DW saying to Sinfield "f*€$ you, who" then, "who the f*€$ are you?", this, to a multiple GF winning legend and SL skipper. Give the lad credit, he has nuts. But if you play the line, you tow the line. He didn't.
