I actually think (apart from the crap design replica shirts) that our current range of merchandise is very good- bought quite a lot this year, coats, hoodies t-shirts, jamas and slippers for the kids......

I agree. Kooga is the worst manufacturer in rugby league. ISC definintely the way forward.

However this debate is on here every pre-season.

I have no issue with the quality of the Kooga gear (a bit pricey perhaps), but the club have been with them for a fair long time now and moving to a new supplier would offer the chance to refresh the proposition and create additional interest. However I note ISC deal with the so called bigger RL clubs, and can we offer up the minimum volumes they require ?

But is Kooga the real issue ? The shop on a matchday provides a very poor environment, unable to accomodate both Town and Giants in the space available. Some of the Town gear on racks is shoved to the side, does not create a good impression. Giants stuff is all crammed in down one side and corner which prevents the ability of supporters to walk around and browse at leisure and find things to buy that maybe they hadn't thought about. Not rocket science is it ? I'm afraid this will put people off going in, and those that do will spend less as a result of the way the shop is set up.

Now Town are at Championship level, the pressure on the shop will grow further - it needs sorting to give BOTH clubs the chance to improve their retail experience and maximise revenue in a key area.

ISC.... I have in my possession ISC gear in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL and all fit the same (for reference, I'd normally be in an L). It's a sizing lottery with ISC.

The club enquired with ISC a few years ago but they were very amateurish in how they dealt with things. The company has grown since then though judging on how many clubs they make shirts now.
