During my morning hydrotheraphy session at Wigan today , a big guy came into the Pool , i got chatting to him , though didnt know him , he told me he used to play for Leigh ,i said i didnt recognise him , then he said he was Adrian Earner , had nothing but praise for the Club , said he loved it at Leigh , told me a few tales ,about Peter Brown ,Dave Evans , and Tony Cottrell , we laughed about our pack at that time , he said they were 6 hard men ,Mick Dean hooker , i told him about the New Past Players , he said he may attend a game this season , a real nice bloke .

Adrian was a good player, I remember him breaking into the first team and him turning up an hour late when we where playing his home town club saints at home. He had forgotten to put his clock back.

The billy benyon was coach at the time.

A very robust player who liked a bit of the biff. 8)
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

When anyone next sees Tommy Sale just say to him "Do you remember Adrian Earner" his response will be "not for publication", let's just say they often had a bit of friendly banter.
