The game will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It will be developed by Australian Game Studios Big Ant and it promises to be the best Rugby League game of all time. The cover photo suggests that Benji Marshall may be on the cover for the game.

“The demand for a new Rugby League game on Playstation®3 and Xbox 360® has been staggering. We have listened to our fans and we are delighted to make this announcement”, said Managing Director, Sebastian Giompaolo.

“Rugby League Live 2 delivers an innovative new gameplay experience, accurately capturing the speed, creativity and strategy of today’s Rugby league” said Paul Kind, General Manager, NRL, Marketing and Commercial “It’s an incredibly realistic NRL experience and a must-have game for anyone who loves their rugby league”.

finally an actual career mode! where you dont get just 1 team...for 1 season... and buying and selling players! :D this game looks really dynamic, almost like a fifa game? expecially with sponsorship deals, training etc. i just hope the online side of it is upgraded too, was awful trying to get a game unless you had friends who played it! also, with it "probably" being released at the end of this year, the current season will be over meaning the kits/players will be outdated :/ better be worth £50 this time ;)

I'm not a gamer, but when I was a kid I craved an RL game and I genuinley think a good game is important for the profile of the game.

10 years isn't long enough IMO, 20-30 is what you'd need to turn a bunch of bottom dwellers from Championship 1 into World Club Champions, if you were trying to play realistically. Yes, it's an improvement on 1, but still could be better. Might be to do with save file size, that's all I can think of.

The crowd as Salford is a little unrealistic ;)
I wish everyone would read bramleyrhino's post two or three times just to get it through some thick skulls

Mr bramleyrhino speaks a lot of sense.

Is there a criteria that you have to have ambitions to be on the Biggest loser to play this game?

Now call me a pedant ( or else geographically challenged ) but isn't this supposed to be Salford?

If so, then it looks, from the position of the sun relative to Barton Bridge, that the game is being played sometime near dawn, though in fact I'm not sure its possible for the sun to be in that place at all.

Amateurs!
