Rather like Luke O Donnell then,although in all fairness Gilmour has played a fair few games more than your big name NRL superstar.

looking forward to seeing o'donnell back this weekend v hull fc and hopefully staying injury free for the end of season run in shame he did ligaments last season....can see his class when he plays

I keep looking at his age of 34 and thinking, we've signed yet another player in the twilight of their career with their best years behind them. I hope I'm wrong...

IMO its worth taking a risk on a "older player" is he's out of the Solomona/Menzies/Ali mould, other than that its a massive risk, he will bring a a quallity to the team no doubt but be warned he's a total pro and won't like anyone who's not.

I hope he can have at least another good year or so, nothing wrong in getting a seasoned pro or ex-International in for a year in theory, Menzies being a great example.

However, this is Cas after all so for every Guttenbiel there is at least one Newlove...
