[Hillsborough Lad]

I was approaching my third birthday so I wasn't in attendence, however the hardy souls that did make the trip received a letter from Gary Hetherington.

Was browsing through flickr (that's a website where you can upload lots of pictures for free, if you've never heard of it) earlier and I found the letter! Below is a link

Although I now feel aggrieved that I've never received a letter after some of the dross I've watched over the years!

I was lucky enough to avoid the defeat at London Skolars and the Thornhill game.

I wasn't so lucky.

I was 6 at the time,I sent Jimmy Saville a letter he never replied but it came true last year!!!

He didn't send me one !!!

We were only winning 12-6 at half time, but it was three tries to three penalties and we seemed to be coasting.

They scored 22 to our nil in the second half

Dave Alred kicked eight goals.

Worth adding that there were no word processors in the Eagles portakabin in those days. Julie would have typed all those letters one by one.
