Ray Mowby, previous conservative minister is outed as a spy, selling info to the Czech secret service. The BBC report this and immediately say he was a strange person who was from a working class and trade union background.

Wonder why they should think his background has any relevance and needed reporting???

Maybe central office had an input???

They also point out that he did it for money, not for political beliefs, so the background is possibly understandable in as much as it suggests a history of not having much.
God is nothing more than an imaginary friend for grown ups.

To be fair, the bit I heard on the radio anyway, was just explaining his background and that it wasnt normal for a working class trades unionist to become a Tory MP.
