According to the Saints board, Hohaia is injured meaning a return to first team duty for 'out of favour' Gaskell. The Saints fans are happy to see Gaskell back but I thought Hohaia has been a real danger recently. Will this work in Rovers favour? Only if Rovers can win the arm wrestle and curtail Roby.
Even without Kris, Rhys and Dave H I reckon Rovers can come home with the 2pts. The vital ingredient will be composure, something I thought was missing last week. For the first time this season I thought Rovers dominated a match for long periods but were unable to convert possession into points. I hope Dobbo and Green learn from that experience and don't make the same mistake of not keeping the scoreboard ticking.
I commend you for being so positive but I see the bookies don't agree they give Rovers 18 points start.
Saints have lost just 2 of the last 11 both against Wigan and they are at home so it's easy to see why they are strong favourites.
This is a real big test for Rovers if they are competitive in this game it will be a very good effort.
Calmer waters lie ahead I feel, after this game we still have Wigan at home but all the other fixtures are very winnable, not that anything can be taken for granted of course. I don't expect a win tonight but I do feel we can really kick on for what will be left of the season.
