Not entirely true given the Rangers FC situation in Scotland! Mind you, the SPL is the one other sporting organisation that can challenge the RFL in the 'Incompetence Championship'.

Rangers are being kicked out aren't they :? :?

Not necessarily. Even if they are, the 'new' club may even be allowed to enter as high up as Division One rather than the Third, so effectively bypassing two divisions.

But still, Gers will not be allowed to carry on in the top tier of Scottish football will they?

Depends on whether clubs vote the way that they say they will - there is a vote on 4th July between the SPL clubs whether or not to readmit them to the top division, even though they're a completely new club with the old one liquidated.

In terms of the Bradford situation, I had a Tweet earlier from a Bradford fan who is "feeling a bit uneasy at thought of a Bulls 'newco' playing in Super League". More questions than answers with that - I would personally expect that they finish the season with a team of kids, funded by the RFL purely to avoid the indignity of our top competition having to expunge a set of results because of a team going bust mid-season.

I don't know what would be worse for the remainder of this SL season. Bradford's results expunged from the record books or scratch team of kids on the wrong end of few 0-100+ defeats from now until September. A sad sad situation indeed at a club that the RFL franchise panel awarded a Grade B Super League licence to in 2011.

The situation not only shows how inept the management of Bradford have been but it also shows how bent the RFL and the scoring for a Grade B license was. Cr4p ground and no money will get you a Grade B licence. What a joke this game has become with those idiots in charge of RFL and the pigs feeding from the SL trough. No one cared about Leigh at the end of last season. Look how Oldham keep battling on and surviving as most of the Championship clubs have to do and all of them with rich histories within the sport just as Bradford have as we are constantly being told.

The chickens are coming home to roost and the SDL is crumbling on its foundations of sand. Sooner it collapses the better.
