I was approaching my third birthday so I wasn't in attendence, however the hardy souls that did make the trip received a letter from Gary Hetherington.

Was browsing through flickr (that's a website where you can upload lots of pictures for free, if you've never heard of it) earlier and I found the letter! Below is a link

I was 6 at the time,I sent Jimmy Saville a letter he never replied but it came true last year!!! :thumb:

He didn't send me one !!! :FRUSRATED:

We were only winning 12-6 at half time, but it was three tries to three penalties and we seemed to be coasting.

They scored 22 to our nil in the second half :shock:

Dave Alred kicked eight goals.

Worth adding that there were no word processors in the Eagles portakabin in those days. Julie would have typed all those letters one by one.
