A bit of fun and speculation. BAsed on rumours and cureent contracts, obviously theres players that will sign we dont know about.

Ill go with:

Brsicoe
Flynn
Phelps
Marsh
New signing

New signing
Hanbury

Ocarroll
McShane/White
Ben Davies
Cahill
Tickle
Brown

Id be more than happy with that team. ITs all aboutstrength in depth for me, we need a stronger, more powerful bench. When we have had injuries this year, our squad has looked really thin.

You may as well throw Gilmore in at 6 if you have Brown at 13. Nothing to lose really.

1 new signing (Briscoes more likely to be injured)
2 new signing (Flynn as cover)
3 Marsh (phelps to cover aswell as FB)
4 Meli (if rumours are true)
5 Ah Van
6 Brown
7 Hanbury (or a new signing if we can get better)
8 Cross
9 Mcshane
10 new signing
11 Cahill
12 Tickle (if rumours are true)
13 new signing (Kav and Allen to cover)

This is just a quick guess but realistic at present.

1.Briscoe/New Full back/Jack Owens
2.New winger/Flynn
3.Quality centre/Marsh
4.Meli
5.Ah Van
6.Brown/Mellor Cover?
7.Class Scrumhalf/Hanbury Cover
8.Cross/Another Prop depending on quality available
9.McShane/White/Coyle in that order
10.O Carroll
11.Tickle
12.Cahill
13.New Signing/Allen/Haggerty
14.Davies
15.White
16.Cross
17.A forward or a back depending on the game.

Wonder if any u20s like Owens or Gilmore will come on?

We've signed Gilmour.

Why has no one put Isa in their team? Has he got a 3 year deal with you lot :D

Calm down dear he means our own teenage academy product at stand off... Wee difference

Isa been very poor tbh. Though like the rest has improved in recent weeks.

We have a lot of squad players on our books that are quite young relatively do I don't think we're in too bad a position in the sense that 4-6 very good signings would make a massive difference rather than a complete 10-12 man turnaround (again).

Kevin Brown and possibly Danny Tickle are definitely 2 of that top calibre we can realistically achieve. Eamon O'Carroll would be an in-between of a good staved add SL regular but also a vey good age for a prop.

I see a gap for a quality centre allowing Dean / Isa and Phelps (if not covering FB) to fight it out for the other spot and covering the wings also.

The key spot really is 9 though. Lloyd White, cracking interchange player. Jon Clarke adds experience and will still 'do a job' IF required. McShane would fit the mould perfectly but that will depend on what happens at Leeds.

7 & 13 would be great but only if quality is out there. Hence If we don't (highly likely) get Matty Smith we don't just sign a 7 for the sake of it. Cahill and Allen can always play 13 (better in second row) too should an out and out loose not be available. Though another body for the back row spots is also essential.

Mcshane would be a great signing j20. Cracking young prospect along with white. Just for my text confirming ocarroll signing. Very good.

I'd like to see brown at 13 and get a new stand off (Aussie) or give Gilmore a chance. Get marsh and phelps in the centres and get a new winger signed up
