Two year deal. That's ambitious.

Great professional, but can't help the nagging feeling that his powers are on the wane, rapidly.

Did anyone suggest that? Genuine question.

Whether it's the different positions Gilmour is being asked to play or his advancing years (disclaimer: he's still 3 years younger than me) he just hasn't looked on it this season. But you'll go a long, long way to find anyone who works harder at his game.

Gilly has been great for us and more than likely done wonders for players like Joe and Bruno helping them along over time, sadly though i think its time for him to move on as he isn't getting any younger and like John says just hasn't looked like hitting form this year although he started off really well at prop.

I wish him all the best and thank him for his time here, his experience in this fairly young squad was very valuable to us.

not sad to see him leave, seems to be going to the same way as last season...missing tackles and knocking on then taking an age to get back to his feet..with hands on hips!!

started well at prop this season but all the team were playing well then

cant blame him taking up a new 2 yr deal and free's up space in the salary cap!

and should not have been playing there. It is quite clear that the wear and tear has affected his recent performances.
He was a good wide attacking second row who i feel has been wasted. But then again we have too many second rows and not enough props.

A good player who i feel deserved better
