If you recall you outlined a tiered-model on how you figured the Salary Cap operated. In many respects each of those tiers operated within a band-width and as such a ceiling. Whilst I don't believe Rovers have a rigid model it makes sense to me your hypothesis wasn't far off the mark, and if my source is right CP fits into the 2nd tier.

For the record, I do not know what CPs contract is worth with Rovers, and I was actually questioning the reports that he was on mega bucks in Oz and then referencing it to Roopys evaluation of CP.

I pretty much agree with all of your post, above.
'Ceiling' just sounds a bit rigid to me and I wouldn't want CS's hands tieing, certainly not at £70k or even £85k. That said, our key playmakers - Dobson and Green - are already in place, so we might well be only making 'second tier' signings this year.
