Whoa! Don't :SHOOT: the messenger. The use of the term 'ceiling' is from a reliable source at Rovers.

If you recall you outlined a tiered-model on how you figured the Salary Cap operated. In many respects each of those tiers operated within a band-width and as such a ceiling. Whilst I don't believe Rovers have a rigid model it makes sense to me your hypothesis wasn't far off the mark, and if my source is right CP fits into the 2nd tier.

For the record, I do not know what CPs contract is worth with Rovers, and I was actually questioning the reports that he was on mega bucks in Oz and then referencing it to Roopys evaluation of CP.

I'm not :SHOOT: ing, sorry if it came across as terse. :)

I pretty much agree with all of your post, above.
'Ceiling' just sounds a bit rigid to me and I wouldn't want CS's hands tieing, certainly not at £70k or even £85k. That said, our key playmakers - Dobson and Green - are already in place, so we might well be only making 'second tier' signings this year.

Wasn't glenn hall that rubbish old aussie with the droopy tache who played for bratfud?

The same Glenn Hall that scored two against Canberra yes.
As for Cory Paterson, never heard him get a mention on NRL fulltime.

I saw Paterson play nearly 80 games for Newcastle.
Newton had a few purple patches, but most of the time he struggled to hold down a starting spot.
Cory had his good times and his bad times. During the good times he was one of the first picked alongside Steve Simpson. During the bad times he was still as good as Newton.
Newton rarely broke the line. Cory regularly broke the line.
Cory is taller, heavier, faster, more athletic. Newton...

It's on Twitter you numpty. If you want to celebrate his arrival, go ahead, I'm excited too. Just don't say he's here when his flights have been "stuffed up" and he's in Dubai. It's just silly.

I'm not worried. Just helping you out with the provision of facts in the face of misinformation. You should be grateful. Not me that "stuffed up". Honestly.
