So sad about the Bulls but as you say a firm can't pay top whack wages on very low income. When we were up at Odsal this season it had only been a few days since the then Chairman had said they were almost paying the full cap. I made the comment on the terraces that if they were then there were some vastly overpaid players. They are talking about a wage bill of around £300k a month for all staff.
I can't see them getting an investor whilst they are at Odsal. The place is too expensive to maintain now and an alternative ground has to be found surely. Where they go I don't know but back to VP has to be considered.
The local council own the land, the RFL the lease and the club are tennants. It does seem that this mess has to be sorted between those three bodies before a major investor puts in an offer for the Bulls.
Just feel sorry for the Bulls fans and the fact they stumped up £550k to help the club which has now all gone. That's just awful! I do hope it gets sorted very quickly and the Bulls can remain in SL for this and future seasons.
