If Walter and friends were that serious, where have they been hiding the last six months? It's a tacky attempt to turn fans against Green so he will be forced to sell on the cheap.

but the fans in general aren't with Green are they ?

how many Season Tickets have been taken up thus far ?

answer = zilch

Mr Greens attempts at cashing in on a big brand name doesn't appear to have any credility with the fans and especially the other SPL members with even Falkirk & Raith Rovers giving him the bums rush !

love him or loathe him Walter et al may be the only alternative !

The only alternative for who?

Green now owns Rangers, whether the fans like it or not. There were no viable alternatives

I remain to be convinced that Green is a viable alternative. Unless you only mean viable in the Craig Whyte sense.

if there are no paying fans

no league which will touch them

no players cos' they can all leave as all contracts are null & void

what is Mr Green going to do with his £5M white elephant ?

wouldn't the ony viable option be to sell out the Walter or whoever has some credibility in the eyes of all concerned ?

Sell what? What does Green's company actually own? It's not his money either - it's loan taken out by the new company to facilitate it's own formation.
I don't know the answers to the above and don't expect anyone else to. It's an absolute farce.

I think we can agree on that

but I know i'm a bit thick but isn't it in the interests of the other SPL members to help Rangers in order to help themselves ? isn't the SPL stronger with them rather than without ?

that's the bit I don't understand - it's like all the other SL teams voting to kick out Bradford !

It's a refreshing case of clubs telling the authorities to stick to their rules rather than vote for a short-term boost to their own coffers when Rangers come to town.

but won't that devalue the SPL which is already struggling for a decent tv deal ?
