Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

As most regular readers will know, I am not the brightest of people, so it would be helpful to me if someone could explain how we turn a turnover which gave us a profit of £20,000 last season (well done to the board) into a turnover that gives us a profit in Super League. I read that Bradford Northern's wage bill is £200.000 a month.
I said Northern on purpose because I heard that when they are forgiven and only given a 4 point reduction, part of the deal is that they return to their old name. The Bulls mascot will change to an old bloke in a flat cap, a scarf and a fag in his mouth releasing pigeons at half time.
And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

The weekend starts on a Monday.
