Seem to remember something on here to do with rumours of James Laithwaite to Saints, anyone heard of him being linked with Hull KR? Not sure if this is a loan deal or when his contracts up at the end of the season (I'd guess it's a loan).

You'd assume it'd be on loan. I heard it from that leigh player's twatter (I assume you heard the same)

Saints are looking for some back rowers and were sniffing around our talent as they assumed we will buy Bateman.

Leigh seem to think that Laithwaite will be loaned to HKR and there was quite a lot of discussion on their board. However, it looks as though this was all rumour as he played for them last week and we have not announced anything.

So at the moment it is all rumour, but of course his contract is due to expire, so who knows ( certainly not a friend of my brothers neighbours sister, anyway )

I think i remember he was due to go to HKR on loan a few weeks back but it went a little cold, i would presume they would take him fairly quickly as a replacement for Liam Watts til the end of the season.

Chris Terris Taylor announced on Twitter that he's going to talk to TS about it today.
