Homeland isn't a US series idea, it's based on an Israeli series called "Prisoners of War", which has been showing recenlty as well.

I know. I don't really like Prisoners of war though, I think Homeland is far better.

Started watching Breaking bad. I think its my new favourite programme :)

Great news about 'The Daily Show'

Just in time for the obscenity of the US elections, too.

Watched the new Sorkin drama, Newsroom, last night. Recommended. I thought the first episode was brilliant. Looks like it'll be similar in style i.e. The West Wing in a newsroom. Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer heading it up.

Strangley, I've always found Jon Stewart to be the least funny thing about that programme.

Oh bugger! I wanted to see that, when was it on? I only saw the 'coming soon' ad last night on Atlantic so thought it would be a week or 2 away

Ah, excellent, I thought you'd watched it on TV over here. Thought it must've been a while away as no date was on the advert.

The show does look very good.

Not that strange. John Oliver is far better.
