Could he come straight away?

You've got cap space and he's available.

I don't think we have any quota space, and you know how tetchy everyone gets with us when we start messing with that particular kettle of fish.

Ervan is a decent, old fashioned prop who does his share of hit ups, can off load well, and tackles well in the middle.

He came to the Knights from the Warriors on an incentive contract because he had missed most of the season before with a neck injury that looked like ending his career.

He is not a star, but he does a workman like job every week at prop.

Ervan has played nearly 150 NRL games and 1 test for NZ.

He was pretty lucky to get a test, because he isn't that standard, but he has been a good, honest NRL performer and is still at just about his best.
He is good for 90-100 metres per game and 15-20 tackles in 60 odd minutes. He does have a very good off load and a pretty fast play the ball because of his low centre of gravity. Not a big guy, but strong and chunky.

One of my clients (who knows nowt about RL) is good friends with Danny Broughs family and commented today that he was hoping to sign for one of the Hull clubs, I asked which one and he said 'not sure, but it's one of them'

He is going to ask tonight
