Hi all

My brother works as a postman and was today delivering to the groundsman at Bradford city.
The groundsman told him that as soon as the football season ended work started on extending the changing rooms to accomodate rugby league requirements ??!!

Not sure how much truth there is in this but it does seem something of a coincidence.

Reminds me of the time circa 1999 that we were supposed to be signing Andy Farrell on the basis that someone knew a postman who had started delivering letters to someone with that name living in Otley.

I think the groundsman was joking, generally football changing rooms are bigger anyway. Football have a bigger match-day squad for a start.

Is Odsal though a financial liability or is it a money spinner.

Big ground but old and not very consumer friendly.

I wonder whether trying to run it becomes something of a black hole for any potential new investor ?

I can't see how a ground the size of Odsal can be sustainable without crowds >10k. Makes a ground share more realistic, with shared overheads. Don't know where that leaves RFL with the head lease though.

Sounds all pretty academic now really, what with no club and all.
I'll be the first to admit this is a bright but haunted age.

Bradford. Whether that means SL, Championship or no club at all.

I fear there is a real danger of a number of fans falling out of love with RL.
