you do realise SM said he's going to BUILD a side ready for World Cup 2013 I don't know about you but what that says to me is he's going to player younger players to get them ready for the world up not keep with the same players that have failed previously? Struggling to understand how you don't get it? If it was a one off game then maybe you'd have a point regards Peacock. Plus your the same, saying he's been this he's been that, BEEN, for me JP is old news, time for the new breed to stamp there authority on the international side.

Just been on super league website some stats on JP for you, seen as your in awe of him.

Average Gain
2006 -182
2007 - 189
2008 -179
2009 - 190
2010 -128
2011 - 93
2012 - 95

A more worrying prospect is Carl Ablett in the centre position?

So you want him to pick only players under a certain age then?
And at least Peacock has BEEN a top prop. Something Lynch/Carvell/Hill etc never ever will be!

If only McNamara would come and see our pack of brilliant, hungry, young English forwards....

Peacock may not be in his pomp any more but I would rather he played for England than the vast majority of other props currently running around SL.

Just shows the state the games in.Garry Schofield says he is playing like a 35 year old going on 40,now there was a
player.

Your missing the point he said he is going to build a side ready for RLWC 2013, is that's the case pick the players that are potentially going to play. To think Peacock has 2 years left at the highest level is more laughable is you as me. He is very injury prone and does not have the impact as he once used to. Another point is on another of your post you claim that Lynch is old (reference not being a whipper snapper) With Peacock already being 34 and will almost turning 36 when the WC is being played by your reconning Lynch would have another 6 years player at international level? So why not play him and be a stalwart of the front row.

You do realise it's 2012 THIS year don't you?!
And I would take a 34 year old Peacock over a 32 year old Lynch any day of the week. Just my personal opinion. I think Peacock has been amongst the best 2-3 British props in the SL era. Lynch wouldnt be in my top 10 now or ever.

Well well well Ordsall Quays Red, you seem to know your minerals  Looks like you won't "take" this 34 year old no more. How you said he still our best prop is dumbfounding but hey, it appears I know nothing at all to do with RL on this board so I'll take this one on the chin graciously and accept I was wrong

When and where did I say he was still our best prop?
