What do you think of the new website?

apart from content which will be incorporated over the next few weeks what do you think of the new website?

All feedback appreciated and we will try to incorperate all good ideas

It looks great and can't believe someone prefers the old version

I've gone for not sure, certainly better than the old site so not sure how people could prefer that.

Too early to say I love it until the content is added and we can see how user friendly it is, the home page seems a tad busy though for me but can understand advertising revenue and all that is needed so.

I also have gone for undecided, it is a bit early too have a poll.

Looks good, just needs updating now. The online shop needs the new gear on too

well the poll results dont add up = = my maths makes it 101%

When will all the content be on? At the moment we have an official website which gives minimal information about the club, whereas the old one gave alot of information about the club and lotteries etc. For almost a week now, content wise, it does the club no favours.

Not knocking the work and the website look, just that IMO it should have been more complete before going 'live'. Priority must be to get the content on asap

It takes a long time to develop a website all of the pages have to be concepted and approved and then building them. there are over 30 different designs for different pages within the new website.

The club wanted to launch the new website on 21st June (to run parallel with the we beleighve campaign) which ment it had to go live with the features such as the news pages, fixtures and being able to buy a ticket also the links had to be in place to LISA and the club shop as well as our sponsors being displayed and links to there website. All this was achieved and was done for £0

The roll out plan for the new site is below and you should start to see upgrades every couple of days or so with the website full complete by 19th July.

It terms of this doing the club no favours i strongly disagree it has all the basic features to function including some new ones such as twitter feed, sponsors advertising and bigger and better news information on the home page. I agree content is important and this will follow shortly however the above mentioned is far more important at this time to enable the site to go live.

This site has been built for £0 cost to the club if you know how much websites of this standard cost to build you will see what a saving the club has made

Nothing wrong with site as i already stated. I just thought a little more content at launch would have helped.

As stated above this was not possible due to cost and timescales!!
