Been a top player, think it might be for the best now. Shame age seems to have got the best of him the year before a WC.

Peacock knew when to go. posters on RL fans knew it was time to go. McBanana did not. Unfortunately it is a year too late as it does not give enough time to blood new props. Some of us said this a year ago but were shouted down. Well done to Jamie though. Has been a great player and always gave his all in an international shirt.

His best days are well behind him and it gives younger props a chance, so in many ways I'm thankful. However, Garry Schofield's inevitable smugness makes me wish he kept going!
