What surprises me about the Clark transfer situation , is that he signed a 4 year deal only at the end of last season, if he wanted to get away surely he shouldnt have signed a deal with Cas.

TBH, the way I see contracts really is a 'win win' situation for the player. The club themselves use it as a marketing tool to say Player A has pledged their future to the club etc etc. But in reality it offers the player security of his playing conditions and pay, but for the club it would do little more that add some security of being paid out if another club wanted to buy a player whilst still under an active contract.

So in terms of why would Clark sign a long contract and then request a transfer so early into the contract??...Well why not? The player has nothing to lose, and potentially many things to gain! Forget about the loyalty side of things, sadly loyalty barely exists in today's game at any level.
The saying 'bent as a 9 bob note' has now been dropped.....corrected phrase is 'bent as the RFL!'

And we have exactly that now, a worse defence, a worse attack and players wanting out. Bring back Box all is forgiven.

Every club has players who go out drinking. In castlefords case because they go to the Xscape they are more visible (fools ) if they went drinking in a pub in Ledston only a dozen people would know.
I wouldn't call Millward professional with the way he has behaved at other clubs.

Millward - who is an idiot at times (Mathers debacle) takes a more proffesional outlook by putting a 72=hour curfew on drinking before a game...the players obviously don't want it and we have a revolt on our hands simple.

what were you saying about controlling the players drinking on a friday night. Told you all clubs are the same.

You have passed the first planning stage. There is a lot of water to go under bridge before any ground will be built on there. Dont get excited like the castleford fans did when they put two diggers on the land behind escape. There will be a lot happening over the next 6 months in Super league. Bradford Bulls is the tip of a very large iceberg,

Who would then Tweet, Facebook and text what they'd seen, and it would be common knowledge in RL circles within hours, closely followed by an 'exclusive' scoop from Dave 'Nosey' Parker.
