Looking forward to this and my first trip to the new stadium. Who else is going?

I've been in hospital since yesterday morning. Going home in a couple of hours and got this week off work to recover. If I'm well enough I'll be at the match on Friday and the Stone Roses on Saturday, but if I'm not then so be it.

I got taken into theatre at half time yesterday knowing we were level and when I was brought back to my room a couple of hours later my first thought was to check the BBC site on my phone and despite being away with the fairies because of the anesthetic I liked what I saw!

Very best of luck on your recovery. This is not going to help much, but I am afraid you missed the best half of the match !

Haha thanks mate - I was only checking the score updates on my phone anyway because I was waiting to be taken to theatre. I was a lot happier when I last checked than I was when I first checked and saw we we 16-6 down!

Sorry to hear that - fingers crossed you're back at your best for this weekend. If it helps inspire you, Michael Monaghan looked like he'd died 2nd half yesterday only to get up an join the defensive line.
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
