Widnes won't be as a bad next year and it is a big step from the Championship to Superleague. With Ste O Connor at our club I feel we will improve year on year.He has already stated that 4 or 5 clubs struggling with finances. One we know is Bradford and if more clubs go bust then more cherry picking.
Oh dear.

Do you realise just how bad your "post" looks... ?
Do not really care to be honest.Just that the posts are acting like we will be bottom of the league again.Which I disagree with and teams have overspent. This is why clubs are in meltdown, and Widnes lost out due to some teams overspending.Only big clubs like Wigan,Leeds,Hull,Saints, and Wire can afford big salary caps.Unless small clubs have a sugar daddy.Just saying how it is and Carroll was obviously good enough the other year? Now goes Widnes he is a awful player?

he ain't awful, it's just that he doesn't seem big enough to be a front line prop and has been injury prone in the past. He would have been struggling to get any game time at Wigan this year with Lima, Moose, Prekki, Eric, Dudson, Flower and Spencer ahead of him

You will find very few describing him as "Awful" or worse. What people have said in the main is that he is small for a prop, has had many injuries, and would get few opportunities at Wigan. Sorry if this just not fit with your "anti-Wigan" bile.

Be nice for some clubs to think we will improve than just to be poop every year.
1st year was always going to be very tough as you were starting with a championship squad and were always going to find it hard to sign up a starting 17 for SL due to current contract commitments of players. 2nd year you should be able to build a stronger squad as further players at other SL clubs come out of contract and you can approach them, keep building and the 3rd year will be the acid test of where you are.

I never was anti Wigan at all as i have liked the Wigan fans when visited the Stobarts. What i am trying to say is O Carroll would be a decent player for Widnes compared to our Championship forwards? He be better than Pickersgill,Kavanagh, and Ben Davies for starters, and possibly Ben Cross. You have got great talent, and a big conveyor belt at Wigan and i be happy with Kev Brown,Luke Robinson, and a few others from your club, who have not been good enough for the top 4.Yes i like Paul Gallen but that is not realistic.
