It's a shame, sounded like a good prospect for you guys, its a worry how kids in general don't seem to have the drive and desire to do well, not just rugby players.

I don't expect it's drive or desire he lacks, the plain truth is that some people just don't have what it takes to play RL. The physicality and confrontation of RL simply isn't there in RU.

He came, he tried, he went. Best of luck to the lad. I'd be more upset if we as a club were passing over signing these prospects. Better to have loved and lost & all that. If we keep trying with the occasional long shot, one of them will turn out to be a belter.

sounds like he needed to grow a backbone more than anything else
