Going from my stats...

Waterman got 4, Hodson 11 conversions...

They've missed the Butterfield try, and given that to Waterman.

Everyone deserves credit for the way we played today.

I agree that Kes was outstanding. It was very surprising that Stu Sanderson's late try was the only one scored by a winger. That left winger of ours hasn't scored in ages ... except for a few kicks!

Cookie must be worried about whether he'll get his place back after Kes's performance today!

Lee Waterman reminds me quite a lot of Shad Royston in the way he backs himself to beat the opposition centre. I enjoyed his length of the field interception try. I noticed Tom was backing him up ... You'll score again soon, mate! A nice hat-trick against Barrow would do nicely!!

Mick Butterfield makes some really good yards bringing the ball out of defence. He's a solid performer.

Craig Robinson and Carl Hughes looked good and it's nice to see both of them back.

Isn't Mark Castle a joy to see when he's in full flow?! He must put the fear of God in those he's running at! Nice to see Alex Rowe come back on after what looked like a serious injury.

We're easily the highest points scorers in our league averaging well over 40 points per game now.

The next three games will be a sterner test and the home games against Barrow and Workington will ultimately decide our finishing position. Wouldn't it be great to turn both of them over?!

The crowd wasn't bad today either ... Let's hope the folk of Donny are starting to become more enthusiastic about the Dons again. I don't think there's much more we can do on the field to win everyone over.

Pity I can't make the Wales game next week but it was great to see some rugby after the long lay off.

Well done again to everyone on an excellent showing today. :D

The crowd was 656 if I recall correctly.
it was nice to see at least one of our left wing wizards step up to the plate.
It's been a while!

Let's go stuff the Welsh, they lost today at home to inferior opposition to our good selves.

Then bring on the Cumbrians to the slaughter!
It's another 3 weeks to then isn't it?
Then another 11 days to the next game.
Then four games to go of which 3 are away.
What a joke!
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Excellent win , differed a bit on man of the match , I expected lee waterman to get it because of the tries he scores, but I would have given it to Kyle kesik. Mick Butterfield had a very good game, all round good team performance

I said at the game that I too would have given it to Kes. There were any number of very good performances though. :)

We could have quite easily scored a hell of a lot more. We made a few mistakes whilst attacking, but I think the two assessors at the game will have made some notes about the performance of the referee at times today.

<Polite mode> Yes, he made one or two 'strange' decisions yesterday

i dont want to be disrespectful to gateshead but i got bored with the game after halftime we just scored at will though we scored some very good tries and our effort was brill , gateshead could offer nothing at all, apart from the first 13 mins as soon as they go behind there heads just drop. barrow and worky will be much better games for the connoisseur,

Normally, I'd delete one ... but it'll screw the rest of the posts if I do
