Sounded like a good effort from your boys today, before any of our fans come on here gloating try to remember what our score was when we went to Wire. With their liberal use of the salary cap and poaching every other teams players then its no wonder these scores happen.

It had to be a major factor nonetheless.

Probably affected the margin more than the result. Was already 24-18 and were up against it.

Ref's fault, defo.

How does Gentle's win ratio compare with Agar's?

Depends what you're looking for.

Burgess, Ellis and Thaiday for strenth and being a nother prop.

If you want the whole package then Lockers is the best right now.

Could be worse. At least we can afford new wheels and to put them back on, rather than having to sell the ones we have on eBay.

Technically you wouldn't be putting them back on if you had gone to the expense of purchasing new wheels. Just saying.

No disgrace getting thumped away to Wire. Even a Wire side lacking Hodgson, Morley, Westwood, Grix, Blythe, Myler and Solomona.

Thought it was 18-all ? Fair play if not.

My view was that the effort was there but class told in the second half with the gap exacerbated by the penalty count and sin-binning. Warrington are the second best team in the comp, we're scrapping for 7th. Missing McKinnon, Sharp, Martin, O'Meley, O'Carroll and Houghton was always going to be a tough game, and so it proved.

Very good first 40, Poor 2nd. Not much else to say - do we drop to 8th next week if we don't win and Rovers do? All very familiar...
