I am not that bothered about him going, he has shown his talent so rarely for us he adds nothing to the squad that a number of our kids will. He will no doubt show his skills for a while at FC and then his head will blow and he will be relegated to the 2nd string and move on. I honestly believe that a 100% committed Watts would be a regular in the England squad, but his nature is to be around 35% committed to RL and he will end up being a wasted talent. If they had signed Taylor, I would be livid.

Watts is a talented player who's lost his way a bit. What disappoints the most is that faced with a choice between knuckling down & forcing his way back into the team & asking for a release he took the easy option. He probably has more ability that Netherton, Murrell, Lovegrove etc but they all seem to be prepared to work harder. That's what a coach wants to to see. If Hull can get Watts back on track good luck to them.

Agreed. He could, I think, be as good as Sam Burgess if only he had the work ethic to match his natural talent.
