Artist impressions mean nothing. Check out the artists impression for the Salford ground (looks like some kids GCSE art project) then look what they actually got.
Their stadium is actually very nice. I went there last night. All they need is a competitive side to bring in more fans.

I don't think it was intended to be a criticism of their stadium, who are we to criticise, but rather a comparison between the original artists impression which bears no resemblence to the finished article due to the fact that the budget was slashed.

I think he was saying let's see how close we can get to filling a 12000 capacity stadium before worrying about the extra 3000.
When you score a try, or kick a goal, or make that tackle, you dont do it for yourself, you do it for the team because the name on the front of the shirt is more important than the one on the back
If the decision to build a 12,000 is take, who decides and then pays for the corners if required? Assuming the costs will be lower to do the job lot at once, isn't this the best idea?

That was my point really chase the funding now and aim high it would be much cheaper as a job lot as opposed to filling in corners later and I do accept we need to fill it first but we need 9K or there abouts average to spend full cap we are getting there at the old girl so a new facility could have a massive impact on crowds like most other teams who have moved into new stadia

My memory suggests that Sir Rodney has talked about pursuing grant funding for the corners.
It might seem prudent to do it all in one go, but I expect that grants are easier to come by for improvements to a stadium that's already built, than for one that you plan to build. Plus it means that you're not juicing the same orange all in one round of funding.

I say stick to 12,000 then if crowds build fill in the corners of the home end first, with a sponsor paying for it filling it and naming rights to it say the Eric France corner of Humphrey corner etc...
