He's looked good for 3 years now, he should be in the first team ahead of at least 2 current players.

I'm sure he would be in the team every week at present if he wasn't injured.

My worry is that with the way results and performances are at the moment it is obvious that other players are not enjoying playing under Basil. If your not happy at work then you start to look elsewhere, its only natural.

That's the problem, Basil needs to go because Clark & co are more important to the club.

Daryll Clarke is the best up and coming 9 in the country without a doubt and would be starting 9 at any club other than Saints IMO

I'd take Aiton over Clark, but in terms on English hookers, I agree only Roby is better.

Absolutely gutted by this news. What on earth is happening down the lane? None of the players seem to have any respect for Basil so obviously something is not right with him, his coaching/training methods, or his people skills. I don't know if someone has been bending Clark's ear or if he is just unhappy but I think he is the best local player we have seen down here in many a year, and I would be absolutely gutted if he went.

At the end of the day, if he has set his sights on a transfer and doesn't want to be here anymore, then I think it will have to happen but I really hope it doesn't.

My brother is friends with Adam Milner as they played together at Stanley and he got told that Huddersfield offered Cas Luke Robinson,Lee Gilmour and someone else in exchange for Daz Clark

In League Express Clark states his reasons to want away. He wants to play in a top 4 side (Warrington ? or Hudds ?) with the chance of winning SL or CC. He also isn't happy that he has been overlooked for the England Knights team and intimates that playing with Cas Tigers has stiffled this.

I'd personally let him go if the price is right. He has made his intentions clear.
