Although I have never lived in Cas they were the first team I went to see & have followed them since. I have no affiliation with the town & can't think of any reason to go there other than rugby (not too dissimilar to Bradford there  ). I watched Cas home & away for 15 years, since I've had a family & moved further north & don't own a car it means a 7 hour trip just for a home game. I just can't afford that time, so I rarely go to home games. I try & catch them at Leeds & Bradford but I watch Leeds, Bradford, Keighley far more often. I felt, after about 10 years of not going regularly, that I had lost my love for Cas, but each time I watch them, especially against teams such as Leeds & Bradford who I always support otherwise, I get that old feeling back & want Cas to stuff them. But RL is my passion now, not Cas, & as long as there is a game I will be there.

I am so shallow I can support two teams in different leagues, that the RFL acted to keep apart a decade or two ago, so it never looked if loyalty to either would ever be challenged as they would always be in different leagues. to clarify: I have lived in Keighley and in Bradford, and watched both teams in their respective divisions. So Bradford being in the same division as keighley gives me a problem: not that I am going to stop supporting them, but that Keighley would be the nearest of the two. and my nearest Superleague team would not be Bradford, so which SL team would i support? Leeds is definitely out for exactly the reasons 666 says. (666 - theres a lot lot more Leeds shirts around Skipton etc than Bulls, unlike the golden age.) Supporting Saints would be like taking cough medicine: it would have a bitter taste but followed by good results. and it would be nice to have 14 players on the pitch instead of 17 left in the squad.

and well put TT, RL is the higher cause.

Of course, all would depend on the imponderable "what if" we stay in Sl, but if we go into admin, if we lose our best players, if we become even less competitive than of recent years, if we have to put prices up - a lot - despite having a hugely worse team. I am assuming that as the Bulls fell apart, lost their squad, and put up prices, this would be the perfect storm for attendances.

It isn't rocket science to predict very decent crowds in a table-topping Championship year, and 1973-4 is on my side too, we've been there and done that. Sort of.

But we would have to lose our best players in the lower division; as pointed out above, the cap is £300K in the championship. There was no cap in 73 so it's a different situation.

The problem with the potential move to Valley Parade, is that the front Seven or Eight rows of the Kop will have to be permanently removed, and the pitch moved - at least 5m away from the Bradford end, due to the RFL's strict compliance over the clearance of perimeter hoarding - in relation to the pitch and front row of the stand.

Even if you sold half your team you still couldnt afford to take the other half to akbars for team bonding. just promote dudley hill to super league and have done with it. best team in bradford

To be honest as an investor why would you put money in now? depressing thought but as a savvy business man you would wait for the debt to be reduced to ensure the money you put in is used to build and not to pay off.

I just hope it's quick, painless without us losing too many players

Trouble is the perception of the Bulls as not having a Plan B on or off the field could be correct in this case
