Selfishly that suits in my opinion, these tours are where young players attract other suitors, purely selfishly it quietly let's us continue to develop our players.
There is an element with lads that age though that they work better in groups who know each other, as opposed to ones and twos from here and there. Touring is a very different and difficult challenge.
We've only lost twice all season in U18s. Big club syndrome.
Not necessarily true. Of the six Wigan lads picked, Farrell, Burgess, Williams and Hampshire have been playing in the U20's (the last three are only17).
Ryan Sutton at prop is still only 16, I think Tierney was the fortunate one to make the tour.
Only Connor Farrell is second year, so the other five will be available for U18 selection next year.
