Can't see it. It's bad business in my eyes. After all the guy has potential. Wether he's a trouble causer or not. I can understand that him leaving is part of a bigger picture in Rovers recruitment. But to hand him on a plate to our neighbours for nothing is just stupid!!

Look what happened with us and Carvell, sure we made 50k out of it but we lost out on a quality replacement.

Could be. There's nothing Rovers can do about what's been spent on Watts development thus far but there is something they can do about what they spend on him in the future.

You do realise you're getting a fee, don't you?

How much are you giving us Adam?
'Time has come to air the voice of reason, in a world gone mad, adrift on banal seas, for all who feel that lies have had their season and whose hearts cry out instead for honesty. For all the weary souls grown bored with dreaming, this thirst for beauty and for knowledge goes unslacked. For all who want to wake from what is dreaming to know what's real and what is real to embrace. For all who've watched with mounting horror, evil's rein upon this world grow ever clear, for all who've prayed in vain, emancipators, wielding swords of truth and laughing without fear...naaaaaaa'

"A deal is now understood to have been agreed, with Hull prepared to pay a fee to take Watts with more than a year remaining on his deal."

Realistically, what's his fee likely to be? How much did you pay for Jay Pitts? Watts is (a) better than Pitts, (b) closer to the international scene than Pitts, and (c) has longer to run on his current contract.

I bet it's about half what you gave Leeds!

We didn't pay anything for Pitts. So half of that is fine by me. :)
