Liam Finn of Featherstone smashed the world record last night for consecutive successful goal attempts, going past Barry Eaton's effort of 37. He's currently 41 "not out" a record that will stand for a very long time in my opinion, unbelievable achievement really when you think of all the quality goal kickers there has been over the years.

Not bad. And they haven't all been under the posts either, albeit Fev have a narrow pitch.

Featherstone have to play 50% of their games away Griff believe it or not.

Frano Botica was one of the best kickers ive seen,Think he was record holder at some stage,Might have been before Eaton,41 kicks on the trott

Yes, some of those are narrow as well.

His run ended on Saturday. Sadly that's the nature of these "consecutive" records. His current run is 0.

Depends, Huddersfield Town Kept creating new permutations for their unbeaten run, one was something like it doesn't count if you play against teams south of the Watford Gap on a Monday night.

Griff. Post Office Road has the widest pitch allowed under the current rules. It is the maximum width!
Sometimes you post some accurate, meaningful posts with quite a bit of insight.
