Personally I would prefer to see England travel to France mid season.

I think those @ the RFL and within the England camp are confused as are many pundits. SOS is not the sole reason Australia are better. The idea that they have an edge due to origin is just absurd. Take away SOS and they still have a domestic competition that week on week is of a higher standard than than SuperLeague.

A game v the Exiles, Lancs v Yorks or even England v France wouldnt make a huge difference. I would like to see england travel to france because it would help the development of france.

The problem with playing France is, although it may help the development of the French national side, it does not improve the international competition overall as France could only get to a level of competition rivalling England and not the Aussies or Kiwis.

England themselves need to develop to improve themselves to compete with the Australians on a regular basis. The Exiles might not be the best supported game and I don't suppose it will ever be - it has little interest for fans to see players they see week in week out - the most important aspect of the Exile concept is does it allow the English team to develop further than previously and I personally feel that its the best option available at the moment.

A tri-nations between us, France and Wales. Good for Welsh development. Hopefully good for ours too if McBanana opts to play some young talent in with the older heads. I should imagine we will be able to have our NRL guys over if need be as these will be full internationals.

Why didnt they tour NZ. The Kiwi's were up for a 3 test match series. England keep banging on about having 'real' tests before the world cup yet decline to play New Zealand. I dont understand that.
