Will be travelling down the A629 from Shelf to arrive at Odsal Top at approx 14:42 before it goes down Manchester Road to the City Centre on Sunday.

Can anyone spot a major problem with our match still kicking off at 15:00?

Better get there earlier what with all the crowds and road closures on two of the main routes to the ground!

In fact looking at it. If you live anywhere that requires traveliing up by Lister park and Shipley you might as well stay around Odsal for a bit before attempting to travel home and avoid the City Centre if you can.

Great planning!

If they had a brain then it would do a lap of Odsal Stadium.

Apparantly the club are aware and tried for months to get a lap of the pitch included. However, the police, council etc. were against it.

They tried to get the kick off pushed back but the police have insisted it kicks off as normal.

So on this score the Bulls aren't at fault.

The thing is, nobody with a brain could be "against" it. A person with the torch comes in from Odsal roundabout; spends at most 10 minutes running down to the pitch through the car park area, one lap of the pitch, back up and away.

WTF is it to do with the police? Last I heard, the land on which they would be detouring is private property, so if they choose to come on the land then it is nobody's business but the land owners and occupiers. Nothing the police can do about it.

There is absolutely no valid reason, at all, why that could not be done. Of course, if you have Bradford Council in charge, there's your reason right there.

It's the Met that is in charge of the ROUTE. Nobody outside the M25 can affect the ROUTE. The ROUTE has been set in stone for years. Anybody who has the effrontery to suggest a change of ROUTE will be disciplined by the Met....

Looking forward to the Olympics, but cant fathom why anyone is remotely interested in the torch.

Could be quite handy if austerity bites and power cuts begin
