Oh shut up you daft tart. Out of interest, how much women's football have you watched to reach your conclusions? And if you're so against watching substandard sport, what on earth are you doing following Salford?

In answer to your first question. Enough to realise that it is a completely devoid of any genuine entertainment value.

Also I didn't realise that there is a sport, sorry substandard sport, called Salford.

TBF there was some quality on show in the Dutch team.
this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

PC brigade? Ah, one of the debating points of someone who's backed into a corner with no proper argument.

My post had bugger all to do with being politically correct and everything to do with pointing out that your post was just a load of b*llocks. I've seen good games of women's football, I've seen bad games. But, funnily enough, I've also been bored to tears watching men play. The entertainment value of any one sport is not dependent on the gender of those playing it. To suggest otherwise is crass, ludicrous and more than a little bit daft.

Game was entertaining enough for me , seen far worse performances on the field from Salford City over the last few years.

Few observations about the stadium from Sundays visit.
1 No parking on the car park unless paid for in advance, everyone who had`nt pre paid were directed to the airport.
2 There were flags hung over the advertising hoardings above the East Stand,so one rule for one event and another in place for Salford games.
3 No activity from Salford, shop was shut . The curious were left peering through the windows.
4 I found I actually liked the stadium while attending a non Salford game, no doubt all my usual issues with Barton will be back in place by 7.50pm friday.

As regards the above post I cannot disagree about some of the Ammies 'performances' - particularly in the second half of last season! :(

Contrary to another poster on this topic, and because I personally dislike womens football, I can assure you that I am no sexist. Far from it. I have every and utmost respect for most womens sports and will be watching events such as rowing, running, swimming, long jumping, hurdling, high jumping, cycling, gymnastics and many others during the forthcoming olympics with as much enthusiasm, interest and admiration as for their male counterparts.

My gripe with womens football is that it is a washed down and pale version of the real thing and lacks in every department when compared to the mens game.
I make no apology for my opinion or observations. I'm entitled to mine just as anyone who doesn't agree with with me is to theirs. Goodbye. :CHILL:

Not the beach volleyball ? :ROCKS: You can NOT be serious ! (sorry, another sport)

The last time I watched Ladies Football there was no long-ball stuff;no feigning injury;no histrionics or arguing with the officials and lots of nice passing and moving, but lacking in the physicality of the male game.
