mmmmm.... would this mean a move to Valley Parade...??? if so the RFL are left with a hole in the ground and no team.....can't see them looking on that favourably for a future franchise....

Would a Bulls team that had been re-located to VP have a right to play in SL? If I were a member of the RFL and had recently parted with £1.25m to secure the lease on Odsal, I would be doing everything legally within my power to prevent it.

Why the assumption that just because someone mentioned Julian Rhodes that it automatically means relocating to Valley Parade?

Julian Rhodes doesn't own Valley Parade nor does he have any say who plays there :?

Plus he struggles funding city. Could well be he's doing a pearson and pulling out of city and putting his money into rugby instead. Can't see RFL allowing us to retain our franchise if we upped sticks to VP leaving them with a White elephant.

I would expect there to be something in the lease binding Bulls to play there. Presumably that would be null & void if they went into admin? As long as the son of Bulls were still a big draw, at VP or Odsal, the RFL couldn't afford to be bitter & twisted & not grant a licence.

Perhaps the RFL would simply sell the lease on for a tidy profit? I expect a
piece of land that big right next to the motorway might be appeal to certain businesses.

Well wasn't that the big story told when the lease was sold to the RFL? That unscrupulous people were looking at the club solely to get their hands on the land the stadium is built on?

TBH, I've always felt that Odsal is a prime location for a stadium. You've got decent facilities round the ground (food, drink etc) and you're almost slap bang on the motorway.

That being said however, I'm not against a move to VP. It'd certainly tick all the boxes for stadia in the franchise stakes and if we're hitting admin then we need to pick up our scores in other areas to compensate.

Also, as much as Odsal is a spiritual home for the Bulls, home is where your hat rests and if the choice came to keeping in SL and playing at VP or dropping down a division to stay at Odsal, then I'd say let's get down to Manningham
When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

A move to Manningham would be the beginning of the end for the Bulls, ask Bradford Park Avenue!
