looking forward to being back in action this sunday, the big doubt is i dont reckon paul cooke will be in any fit state to play, though i think we would be way too strong for gateshead even without paul, its been torture these last 3 weeks ",come on you dons"

typical, been waiting patiently for the next home game and when it finally comes next week I will be working. Can't see Paul Cooke playing as he will need more recovery time after his epic feat of endurance but with Grant out who will be the halves, I am thinking Fawcett 6 and Kesik 7. Should have too much for Gateshead but need to tighten up in defence and not let in any soft tries

Agree with both posts as regards to should have too much for Gateshead , and that cookie will maybe need some recovery time. depends on how he feels, he may want to play, but if he's not right, this is the game to miss.

i thought i would slip this one in , i see that eagles are prepared to let alex rowe go out on loan for the remainder of the season and as we are a bit light in the forwards it might be worth taking a punt with him,as hornets are reportedly interested in taking him i always thought he was a good impact player.

I will never forget that try he scored just before he left us when he sprinted in from 25 yards for a try leaving the fullback for dead.
I liked him as a player. I reiterate, as a player.
Come on Alex.

Anyway back to the topic ........
I should think that we will be a bit rusty what with the lay-off and all this bloody rain, but we need to be thinking of putting a big score against Gateshead, given that Barrow and Workington have caught us up on the points difference thingymebob.
No disrespect to Gateshead.

What happened to our potent left wing pairing?
On holiday?
Resting on laurels?
You get the idea.
Let's have it back!
